Job summary

The Davey Tree Expert Company is seeking a Sales Arborist Representative for an on-site role in Colma, CA. ISA Certification is required, and you will educate customers, provide estimates, and develop annual plant health care programs while building relationships with clients.

Compensation ranges from $78k to $150k+ per year, combining base salary and commission. Relocation assistance is available for candidates not currently in the Bay Area.

Qualifications

• ISA Certified Arborist® is required.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Experience in the green industry is essential.
• Knowledge of tree care, hazard tree evaluation and IPM is expected.
• Preferred: pesticide licenses and related certificates.
• TCIA CSTP and ISA TRAQ certification are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Educate residential and commercial customers on tree needs.
• Provide customers with estimates.
• Develop and update annual plant health care programs.
• Build relationships with new and existing clients.
• Set up and supervise crew members on customer jobs.
• Assist District Manager in office and field management.

We are currently looking to add a dynamic Sales Arborist Representative to our passionate team of tree care professionals.

Compensation Data: $78-$150k+ per year, pay is a mix of the base salary and commission schedule. (2-4 years minimum experience)

Job Duties

• Educate residential and commercial customers on the needs of their trees.
• Provide customers with estimates based on their needs.
• Develop and update annual plant health care programs.
• Create and build relationship with new and existing clients.
• Set up and supervise crew members assigned to customer jobs.
• As part of the office and field management team, the Sales Representative assists the District Manager in the direction of whole team.

Qualifications

• Green industry related experience required for success
• ISA Certified Arborist ®
• Required: Valid driver’s license
• Regional plant and horticulture knowledge
• Good people skills; self-motivated; computer proficient and organized
• Must be knowledgeable and experienced with tree care, hazard tree evaluation, integrated pest management and industry approved tree care practices
• Preferred: Relevant pesticide and related licenses and certificates
• TCIA Certified Tree Care Safety Professional and ISA TRAQ certification a plus!
