Job description

Nofence has built the world’s first virtual fencing solution for livestock. The technology consists of a solar-powered collar that communicates with an app over the cellular network. Through the app, farmers can set up a new grazing area in seconds, and the long days of installing and moving fences are officially over! Livestock can graze longer and in more areas, and the farmer will always have visibility of their location.This means better profitability and more free time for farmers as well as improved animal welfare.

With a strong foundation of 3,000+ customers in Norway, the UK, Spain, we are nowexpanding in the US. To support this growth, we’re looking for a Sales and SupportSpecialist to join our dynamic team.

Our US headquarters is in Minneapolis, Minnesota, but we’re building a remote-friendly team across the country. We’re currently hiring in Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Kansas,Arkansas, Illinois and Minnesota.

About the role

Your mission will be to sell virtual fencing collars and help existing customers succeed in getting the most value from choosing to work with Nofence.

We thrive to create and cultivategood customer relations. This requires that we understand the customers needs and can guide them through how to best utilize our product.We will offer full training in our product and customer support system, but previous experience of working with farmers is a great advantage.

The position will involve a combination of sales and customer support, including daily follow-up with leads, up-selling and support existingcustomers. You will become an integral part of an inclusive and dedicated team with a strong focus on collaboration. We are looking for a structured and enthusiastic team member who is eager to provide excellent customer service.

The candidate shall havea flexible approach to all aspects of the role. The right candidate is self-motivated, energetic, and hardworking, preferably with a background from agriculture. Title: Sales and SupportSpecialist

Status: Full-time, exempt (not subject to overtime), 40 hours per week

Supervisor: Managing Director US

Location:Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Kansas, Arkansas, Minnesota, Illinois

Main Responsibilities

The main responsibilities for this role will be:

  • Close sales through phone and email
  • Responding to inbound sales and supportinquiriesvia phone and email, ticketing system, and other tools
  • Maintaining close customer contact and securing a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Documenting and updating customer records and support cases in our CRM system.
  • Escalating complex or unresolved issues to our Product and Engineering department
  • Contributing in collecting statistics on the performance of our products.
  • Ensuring knowledge and information sharing between the global and US support teams
  • Occasional travel expected to relevant events and occasionally potential and current customers

In the current phase of growing our team we will need someone who is adaptable and willing to contribute to non-sales and non-support related tasks like;

  • Contributing to projects across the organization
  • Contributing to developing the Sales team and shaping our structure
  • Contributing to developing the Support team and shaping our structure
About you

We are looking for someone who has:

  • A degree or equivalent in a field relevant to the position. Practical experience and engagement can compensate for a lack of formal qualifications
  • Proven experience as a sales consultant or similar role in a tech company or industry
  • A background which makes you able to answer questions related to agriculture, pasture management, or animal husbandry
  • Keen interest in our product and ability to gain competence in our technology
  • Excellent English oral and writing skills
  • Strong communication skills
