Job summary

Graf Brothers Flooring is seeking a dependable and organized Sales and Shipping Assistant to support sales, shipping, warehouse, and customer service operations. This role will interact with sales representatives, customers, drivers, and management to ensure orders are accurately processed and shipments coordinated efficiently.

The position is full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, located in Kentucky. Benefits include health, life, paid vacation/holidays, and a 401(k) retirement plan.

General Responsibilities

• Assist with entering, reviewing, and processing orders.
• Coordinate and prepare orders for shipment and ensure shipping information is accurate.
• Assist with scheduling freight, trucks, containers, and other transportation needs.
• Prepare and maintain shipping documents, bills of lading, packing lists, labels, and related paperwork.
• Assist sales representatives with order information, shipment details, and customer requests.
• Help customers and respond to general questions regarding orders and shipments.
• Coordinate with drivers and assist with required paperwork.
• Monitor and help maintain inventory and material allocation.
• Help resolve freight, delivery, and billing issues as needed.
• Assist with freight quotes and other shipping-related requests.
• Perform general reception and phone duties, including answering calls and directing customers or inquiries to the appropriate person.
• Provide general administrative and operational support to the sales and shipping teams.
• Perform other duties and assist with special projects as assigned by management.
