Job summary

Gills Point S is hiring a Sales & Service Technician in Bend, Oregon. This role blends customer service with hands-on automotive work, inspecting vehicles, performing tire services, and recommending solutions to improve safety and performance. You’ll educate customers, prepare estimates, and help drive in-store sales.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and build lasting relationships through outstanding service.
• Listen to customer concerns and recommend tires, maintenance, and repair services based on their vehicle's needs.
• Educate customers on tire options, preventative maintenance, and manufacturer recommendations.
• Prepare estimates and confidently present service recommendations.
• Help customers make informed purchasing decisions while delivering an exceptional experience.
• Support store sales goals by identifying opportunities to add value through honest, solution-based recommendations.
• Mount, balance, rotate, repair, and replace tires.
• Perform oil changes, fluid exchanges, and preventative maintenance services.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and identify maintenance concerns.
• Replace filters, wiper blades, bulbs, batteries, and other routine service items.
• Assist with maintaining a clean, organized, and safe shop environment.
• Work closely with technicians to ensure efficient workflow.
• Help maintain inventory and merchandise displays.
• Complete repair orders and accurately document services performed.
• Deliver high-quality workmanship and customer service.

What You'll Do

Sales & Customer Service

• Perform oil changes, fluid exchanges, and preventative maintenance services.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and identify tire, brake, suspension, steering, and other maintenance concerns.
• Replace filters, wiper blades, bulbs, batteries, and other routine service items.
• Assist with maintaining a clean, organized, and safe shop environment.

Teamwork & Operations

• Work closely with fellow technicians to ensure efficient workflow.
• Help maintain inventory and merchandise displays.
• Complete repair orders and accurately document services performed.
• Deliver the high‑quality workmanship and customer service that Gills Point S is known for.

Requirements
