Sales and Service Rep (Hourly)-Class B Route Driver- *5K SIGN ON BONUS*

Safety-Kleen in San Diego, CA is seeking a Sales and Service Route Driver. This role involves training to operate a Class B box truck to provide onsite service for parts washer machines, pick up containerized hazardous waste, and sell products/services along a designated route.

Key Responsibilities

• Prioritize health and safety by following all safety protocols and practices
• Visit 10-12 customer sites daily
• Switch out 15- & 30-gallon drums of solutions
• Service parts washer machines and clean sediment from sinks
• Upsell products/services and generate new leads in the field
• Service automotive, fleet, and manufacturing clients
• Complete scheduled services, deliveries, and pickups promptly
• Comply with all local, state, and federal regulations
• Operate vehicles safely according to U.S. DOT and other requirements
• Follow environmental, health, and safety guidelines
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Class B CDL
• Obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsements within 90 days of hire
• Basic computer and math skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Physical ability to perform job functions
• Successful background check, drug test, and physical exam
• Meet OSHA facial hair standards for respirator use

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in customer service
• Commercial route driving experience (Class C or Non-CDL)
