Job Description

This is not a 9-5, sit-behind-a-desk job. Instead, you will develop and execute creative marketing plans to drive business to our property. The role focuses on selling manufactured homes at Pheasant Lake Estates in Beecher, IL. It is an hourly rate plus commission. A Real Estate license is not required.

Your Responsibilities
  1. Show homes, highlighting features and benefits, spending approximately 85% of your time on this.
  2. Conduct preliminary sales calls with potential buyers, send “Thank You” notes, and follow up to maintain engagement.
  3. Prepare sales contracts, including calculations for sales tax, payment plans, and credit checks.
  4. Meet with residents and buyers to list and sell homes, maintaining a database of available homes.
  5. Collaborate with community and regional managers to develop sales and marketing plans.
  6. Build strong resident relations through ongoing communication, demonstrating courtesy, respect, and customer service.
  7. Complete administrative tasks accurately and promptly, managing priorities effectively.
  8. Coordinate and oversee the setup of new homes with contractors and management.
Required Skills & Experience
  1. Strong customer service and sales success history.
  2. Excellent communication skills, able to effectively engage with customers and team members.
  3. Confirmed PR and marketing skills to promote the community.
  4. Strong math skills for calculating figures like discounts, interest, and commissions.
  5. Detail-oriented with attention to small details.
  6. Team-oriented, collaborative, and proactive.
  7. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
