SUMMARY:

The Sales and Leasing Professional serves as the first point of contact for both prospective and current residents, playing a key role in maintaining high occupancy levels and a positive community atmosphere. This position drives leasing performance through exceptional customer service, proactive sales strategies, and consistent follow-up practices. While on-site training is provided, prior experience in sales or leasing is preferred.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Goal-oriented with a proven ability to close sales.
  • Professional presentation and a customer first mindset.
  • Proficiency with leasing software. (AppFolio experience is a plus!)
  • Previous experience in sales, leasing, or hospitality preferred.
  • "All Hands In" team player mentality.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly to leasing inquiries via phone, email, and in-person walk-ins.
  • Conduct property tours and highlight key community features to prospective residents.
  • Close leases by effectively communicating the benefits of renting in the community.
  • Prepare and process rental applications and lease agreements for approved applicants.
  • Maintain consistent follow-up with prospects using AppFolio.
  • Collaborate with Property Manager to create a positive and welcoming atmosphere for current and prospective residents.
  • Assist with marketing efforts including social media, ILS listings, community outreach and events.
  • Stay informed about local market trends and competitor offerings.

Salary + Benefits:

  • Job Type: Part Time (20 - 24 hours)
  • Pay: $17-22 per hour
