Lodging Hospitality Management Corporation in Kentucky seeks an experienced Group Sales professional to drive new business, coordinate on-site events, and lead the Volunteer Program initiatives.
Responsibilities include soliciting new clients, responding to inquiries, booking group tickets and spaces in Delphi/Accesso, and maintaining client profiles to foster repeat business. Travel to trade shows and sites is required.

Responsible for Group Sales (with other SM position), Volunteer Program Initiatives & Training, On-site events
Solicit new business using Delphi (Hotel), outside sales calls, cold calls, etc. to prospect new clients. Promptly respond to in-bound inquiry calls and follow-up to capture desired business. Maintain an organized system to ensure all viable inquiries are pursued in a timely manner. Return calls, quotes, proposals, and contracts must be completed in a timely manner as customers may be “shopping” other properties.
Accurately book group ticketss and space in systems (Accesso & Delphi). Utilize standardized contracts and proposals, call log, and reporting functionality.
Assist and Execute weekly/monthly trainings to assist the Volunteer Program at the St. Louis Aquarium
Ability to execute large scale events. On-site coordination and management
Maintain positive relationship with existing clients, keep up to date client profiles on each client and effectively utilize this information to build rapport and capture future sales (send birthday, anniversary, holiday cards, etc.). Meet, greet and entertain potential and existing clients, providing information regarding the property to increase sales.
Travel locally and out of city/state as necessary to attend trade shows, conduct outside sales calls, promote the property, examine competition, or research potential clients.
Develop/maintain knowledge of market trends, competition and customers.

Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school or any other combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge skills and abilities. College degree with hotel major is preferred. Prior sales experience required, hotel sales experience strongly preferred.
