Overview

Sales and Business Development Officer – United Bankers' Bank on the Marketing team. This role provides service to existing UBB customers and develops new business opportunities. The position involves presenting and selling all UBB products while acting as a liaison between UBB and its respondent banks. This is a remote, work-from-home position that requires self-discipline and self-motivation. The individual will travel extensively, calling on community banks in Illinois.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Calls on banks in assigned territory and serves as their primary account manager. Sells all bank products and services, establishes and strengthens relationships between banks and UBB.
  • Files call reports regarding each sales call. Discusses opportunities with the appropriate UBB departments.
  • Maintains excellent relationships with all UBB departments and becomes knowledgeable of all UBB products and services.
  • Prepares and presents pricing comparisons for banks by obtaining statements from their current correspondent banks.
  • Utilizes superior communication skills in a consultative sales environment.
  • Represents UBB at various state banking association conventions & conferences, in addition to UBB customer appreciation events.
  • Consistently meets or exceeds annual calling goals.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Ability to travel (by car) up to 60% with half of that amount (or more) being overnight travel
  • Bachelor 0s degree in Sales, Marketing, Finance or related field
  • 5 years correspondent sales/marketing or banking related sales experience
  • Understanding of Lending, Investments, and Operations as related to Banking

Pay Range
  • $115,000.00 - $150,000.00 salary; depending on education, qualifications, experience
