Job summary

Vitamin Well Group in the US is seeking a Sales Analyst to support our sales teams and optimize in-store performance for our largest format customers.

You will analyze Nielsen/SPINS data, develop presentations, manage retailer portals, and create data-driven recommendations to grow share of shelf. Strong Excel and dashboard skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of category management experience in the CPG industry.
  • Data analyst background is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of data capture, POG assortment, and MOD software.
  • Experience with Nielsen, SPINS, IRI, and retailer data platforms.
  • Dashboard creation and retailer platforms (Retailer portals, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Support new product and new retailer launches with admin support and POG assessments.
  • Provide launch recommendations and analyze category performance using retailer data.
  • Manage daily admin tasks to support data analysis.
  • Organize category data and ensure files/presentations are up to date.
  • Conduct weekly POS data analysis across major retailers and manage dashboards.
  • Manage new item forms and retailer portals; ensure accuracy.
  • Update and build product presentations to support sales efforts.
  • Support product launches with ongoing data analysis.

Vitamin Well Group in the US

Vitamin Well made its debut in the US market in 2019, initially introducing NOCCO, followed by the launch of Barebells in 2020. Since then, the company has witnessed remarkable growth, with its products now widely available across the country in various gyms, gas stations, and grocery stores. The US market has rapidly emerged as having one of the most significant volume increases across our markets. In response to this success, we have developed and launched products specifically designed to meet the unique preferences and needs of the US consumer.

About the Role

As a Sales Analyst your primary and biggest focus areas will be to support our sales teams and share of shelf advice for our largest large format customers. The role contains various of tasks where you’ll be leading projects in with canada’s retailers, assess category data , develop presentations and analyze data based on Nielsen /SPINS data as well as retailer data portals. Review New POG assortment, analyze data that requires necessary recommendations and or changes, review all retailer portals and present analysis on performance and market share. Create sales presentations with competitive data and create opportunities for sales teams to present business cases. Work with retailer dashboards and implement new item set up as well as managing all retailer data portals.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Support new product and new retailer launches, including administrative support, POG assessments, and recommendations based on retailer and Nielsen data.
  • Provide new product launch recommendations and analyze category performance within the set using data from retailer portals.
  • Manage daily administrative tasks to support the functionality and coordination of the analyst role and ongoing data analysis.
  • Effectively manage and organize category data and information, ensuring all files and presentation decks are accurate and up to date.
  • Conduct weekly POS data analysis across all major retailers and manage retailer dashboards.
  • Manage new item forms and retailer portals, ensuring accurate and timely information.
  • Update and build new product presentations to support sales team efforts.
  • Manage new item data and provide ongoing support throughout product launches.
What you will need to succeed:
  • 3-5+ years of category management experience; experience within the CPG industry is a plus.
  • Data Analyst background is considered an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of data capture, POG assortment, and MOD software.
  • Strong experience with category data and reporting tools, including Nielsen, SPINS, IRI, and other category data platforms.
  • Strong experience with dashboard creation, software assessment, data consolidation, and market intelligence support, including Retail Link, LDIA, and similar retailer platforms.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, POG management tools, and retail POG software.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and influence without direct authority in a fast-paced business environment.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to adapt as the business grows and evolves.
  • Independent thinker and self-starter who can manage workload with minimal supervision while keeping senior management informed of key issues and developments.
  • Strong communication and responsiveness when working with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Ability to provide executive leadership with relevant business information and insights to support decision-making.
  • Experience with business process development and continuous improvement in the management of day-to-day business.
  • Bilingual French-English skills are preferred.
