Job summary

Magna Electronics in Michigan is seeking an Advanced Account Associate to drive sales data analysis, forecasting and reporting. You will collaborate with Sales to maintain accurate market status and drive insights across multiple tools.

Strong Excel and BI experience are essential to support the global sales team. Responsibilities include data control for GSD, price and product data, LTA tracking, and cross-functional coordination to improve reporting, with opportunities to influence strategic

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analysis or related field.
  • 3+ years in automotive industry.
  • Proven ability to analyze sales data and generate reports.
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical ability.
  • Experience with Power BI or similar BI tools.

Responsibilities

  • Manage GSD data control and updates for responsible customers to support accurate Magna sales forecasts.
  • Input vehicle volume versus IHS and maintain price controls vs ERP.
  • Oversee product maintenance data such as Take Rate and product type.
  • Monitor LTA status and follow up on plans.
  • Provide sourcing opportunity updates and align with other tools.
  • Support MPM processes and prepare/Analyze sales reports and forecasts.
  • Assist sales team with reporting and data processing needs.
  • Present key indicators for monthly reports and reviews.

Job Responsibilities:

Your main Responsibilities

As an Advanced Account Associate, you will be responsible for the sales tool GSD with data control and updates on responsible Customers by request from Sales to present an accurate and confident Magna sales forecast as well as the market status by working closely with Sales:

  • Vehicle Volume input/control in comparison to IHS
  • Price control (vs ERP)
  • Product maintenance (Take Rate%, Product type)
  • LTA control (vs LTA plan), follow-up
  • Sourcing opportunity update
  • Consistency between GSD, MPM, Ironclad and other tools
  • Competitor, Market update

Additional Responsibilities:

  • MPM process support: registrations, agenda preparation, meeting minutes, approval follow-up, etc.
  • Prepare and analyze sales reports and forecasts
  • Support responsible Sales Team to enhance their reporting and data processing.
  • Provide sales key indicators and analysis for his/her reports and/or meetings (Monthly Report, GSD Freeze Review, etc.)
  • Attend regular sales meetings to support preparation and derive actions

Who we are looking for

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Data Analysis or a related field

Experience

  • 3+ years in automotive industry
  • Demonstrated proficiency in sales data analysis and reporting tools
  • Advanced analytical skills and strong command of Microsoft Excel
  • Proven ability to work effectively across multiple functions and teams
  • Familiarity with Power BI or similar BI tools

Your preferred qualifications

  • Fluent in English, additional languages are a plus
  • Experience working in a global and matrixed environment
  • Self-motivated, ability to initiate activity
  • Ability to keep up with an environment with agility and changes
  • Strong numerical aptitude: skilled in data reporting and visualization, with a solid understanding of financial controlling principles
