Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market in McKinney, TX is seeking a Sales Ambassador to engage customers, sample products, and share knowledge in a fast-paced, friendly environment. You will help shoppers make healthy choices and promote products through hands-on demonstrations.

The role emphasizes customer service, teamwork, and a positive store presence with opportunities for growth and employee discounts. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Energetic, enthusiastic about Sprouts products, and strong in customer engagement.
• Ability to suggestively sell and build rapport with customers and team members.
• Desire to learn, grow, and adapt in a fast-paced store environment.
• Ability to stand at the Tasting Station for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Proactively engaging customers while sampling products.
• Preparing and serving food using an induction cooktop, toaster oven, blender, etc. with specific cooking directions.
• Cutting and sampling produce and grocery products.
• Achieving sales goals by sharing products and encouraging trials.
• Coordinating event activities: setup/takedown, communications, inventory, and recaps via SharePoint.
• Maintaining program-specific equipment and adhering to food safety guidelines.
• Completing online trainings to expand knowledge base.

Overview Of Responsibilities

• Proactively engaging customers while sampling products
• Preparing and serving food using an induction cooktop, toaster oven, blender, etc. with specific cooking directions provided
• Cutting and sampling produce and grocery product
• Achieving sales goals by sharing product with customers and encouraging them to try new products
• Coordinating all event activities, including:
• Event setup and takedown
• Communicating upcoming events in department manager meetings
• Managing sample supply and sample product inventory
• Preparing event recaps via SharePoint
• Maintaining program specific equipment
• Adhering to strict food safety guidelines
• Completing assigned online trainings to build your knowledge base

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent
• High energy with a passion for Sprouts product

• Ability to follow cooking directions
• Ability to stand at the Tasting Station for up to 8 hours
