Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is hiring a Sales Ambassador to engage customers, sample products, and help run in-store events with a friendly, fast-paced team.

You will prepare food with induction cooktop, stock samples, and strive to meet sales goals while upholding food safety and exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• High energy with a passion for Sprouts products.
• Thrives on customer engagement.
• Ability to suggestively sell products.
• Willingness to learn and grow.
• Ability to follow cooking directions.
• Stand at the tasting station for up to 8 hours.
• Experience with customer service, sales, marketing or event planning.

Responsibilities

• Proactively engaging customers while sampling products.
• Preparing and serving food using induction cooktop and other equipment with provided directions.
• Cutting and sampling produce and grocery products.
• Achieving sales goals by sharing products with customers.
• Coordinating all event activities including setup and takedown.
• Communicating upcoming events in department manager meetings.
• Managing sample supply and sample product inventory.
• Preparing event recaps via SharePoint.
• Maintaining program-specific equipment.
• Adhering to strict food safety guidelines.
• Completing assigned online trainings.

Overview Of Responsibilities

• Proactively engaging customers while sampling products
• Preparing and serving food using an induction cooktop, toaster oven, blender, etc. with specific cooking directions provided
• Cutting and sampling produce and grocery product
• Achieving sales goals by sharing product with customers and encouraging them to try new products
• Coordinating all event activities, including:
• Event setup and takedown
• Communicating upcoming events in department manager meetings
• Managing sample supply and sample product inventory
• Preparing event recaps via SharePoint
• Maintaining program specific equipment
• Adhering to strict food safety guidelines
• Completing assigned online trainings to build your knowledge base
