Sales Agronomist II-Illinois (East, West and South)

We are hiring multiple Sales Agronomists across Illinois. Please specify your preferred geographic region (East IL, West IL, South IL) in your application.

The Sales Agronomist advises key growers on Bayer Crop Science products, technology, and innovations to ensure in-season success. The role involves developing relationships, providing agronomic advice, and supporting business growth with growers.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales and technical teams to develop business plans and increase Bayer market share with targeted growers.
• Build and maintain relationships with growers by offering agronomic insights, product recommendations, and support.
• Support demand generation and achieve sales goals.
• Provide comprehensive farm advice, including crop planning and in-season support.
• Conduct trials, monitor seasonal milestones, and respond to grower needs.
• Engage in business planning and influence grower objectives and KPIs.
• Monitor grower accounts, track activities, and identify opportunities.
• Manage an annual SG&A budget and expenditures.
• Travel approximately 60%, with significant face-to-face interactions.

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in agronomy, sales, or marketing.
• Experience working with remote sales teams.

Salary ranges from approximately $70,069 to $105,103, with potential bonuses and benefits. The posting remains open until at least 6/30/2025.
