Job summary

agriCAREERS, INC. is seeking a Sales Agronomist in IA to work with producers on fertilizer, chemical and seed needs, and to serve walk-in customers in the country. This role emphasizes building relationships with existing customers and expanding the customer base.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in agronomy with proven sales success; manure management plans experience is a plus, and a strong understanding of agribusiness is required for success in this market.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in agronomy with demonstrated sales success.
• Experience with Manure Management Plans a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with producers on fertilizer (liquid and dry), chemical and seed needs.
• Work with walk-in business and spend time in the country working with current customers and prospecting for new customers.
