Job summary

A reputable agronomy firm in Wisconsin is seeking a Sales Agronomist to join their team. In this role, you will make recommendations on seed and fertilizers, build long-term customer relationships, and handle sales presentations. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of agronomy experience and a degree in Agronomy or Agriculture. A competitive compensation package will be offered.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of agronomy related experience preferred.
  • Self-motivated, ability to work independently and with a team.

Responsibilities

  • Make seed, fertilizer and chemical recommendations to growers.
  • Work alongside other agronomists to carry out daily responsibilities.
  • Facilitate positive long-term relationships with customers to create and promote long term repeat business.
  • Prepare sales presentations, contracts and proposals to ensure successful transactions.
  • Forecast supply requirements on monthly and annual basis.
  • Perform a variety of agronomic duties independently.
  • Stay up to date on all agronomy services and technology.
