Overview

Firefighters First Credit Union is seeking a Sales Agent to join our Firefighter Insurance Services team. This is a remote work-from-home position. Salary range: $45,768.00 to $65,768.00 annually. Compensation structure: salary + commission. Candidates must live in Nevada, Washington or Arizona.

Firefighters First Credit Union is dedicated to serving the unique financial needs of our members with a full suite of banking solutions. Beyond traditional banking, we offer a range of specialized services including insurance services. We have an immediate opening for a Sales Agent to join our Firefighter Insurance Services team.

Responsibilities
  • Handle telephone calls and personal visits from prospects and customers pertaining to coverage, claims, new business, remarkets and additional lines of coverage in a timely manner.
  • Conduct coverage reviews with customers and recommend additional lines of coverage if the need becomes apparent.
  • Maintain an accurate new production list on a weekly basis.
  • Broadly participate in the retention and growth of your assigned book of business.
  • Review daily, weekly and monthly reports, i.e. daily expiration and aged accounts receivable reports pertaining to your assigned accounts.
  • Maintain a current knowledge of underwriting guidelines, rating systems and processing requirements for each personal/commercial lines carrier.
  • Attend educational seminars as required by Agency.
Basic Qualifications
  • Education: HS Diploma/GED (General Education Development)
  • Property & Casualty License
  • Life Insurance License (optional)
  • 1 year of Customer Service Representative experience or 2 years of Insurance Agency Assistant experience
  • Thorough knowledge of State Insurance Laws and P&C coverage definitions
  • Broad base knowledge of Insurance Agency practices and procedures
