Job summary

Applied Control in Centennial, Colorado, is hiring for an Executive Support role to back the VP of Sales & Marketing. This full-time onsite position handles calendar management, travel planning, presentations, and meeting logistics, while supporting CRM use and data accuracy.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in sales or admin support, Salesforce experience, and strong MS Office skills. ERP or quoting tools a plus; on-site collaboration is essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with CRM systems, Salesforce preferred.
• Experience with a medium-sized sales team (10–40 members).
• Excellent written and verbal communication and strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

Executive Support (VP of Sales & Marketing)

• Manage the VP’s calendar, meetings, travel arrangements, and schedule prioritization.
• Prepare presentations, reports, and executive-level communication materials.
• Track deliverables, action items, and follow-ups to ensure deadlines are met.
• Coordinate internal and external meetings, including agendas, minutes, and logistics.
• Support both Marketing and CRM utilization from an administrative perspective
• Provide day-to-day administrative support to the sales organization, including meeting coordination, training logistics, document preparation, and communication support.
• Assist with onboarding new sales team members and ensuring smooth integration with systems, processes, and team workflows.
• Support customer follow up and management escalation as necessary

CRM Support & Data Accuracy (Critical Skill Area)

• Perform routine CRM updates, data entry, and basic pipeline maintenance to ensure accuracy and alignment with company processes.
• Run simple reports and dashboards for leadership as requested.
• Support CRM data entry and management
• Guide team members on CRM usage, best practices, and data standards
• Help monitor compliance with sales processes within Salesforce (or equivalent CRM) to maintain consistency and data integrity.
• Support the VP in analyzing trends, forecasting inputs, and account activity by preparing CRM-driven summaries and extracts.

Operational Coordination

• Assist with coordination of sales events, customer visits, trade shows, and marketing activities as required.
• Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems, shared content libraries, and team resources.
• Support cross-functional projects and communication between sales, marketing, operations, and customer service.

Qualifications

Required

• 3+ years of experience in sales support, administrative support, or similar roles.
• Strong, hands-on experience withCRM systems—Salesforce strongly preferred(others acceptable with ability to quickly learn and adapt).
• Experience working with amedium-sized sales team(10–40 members).
• Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.
• High proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under deadlines.

Preferred

• Experience producing basic CRM reports and summary exports.
• Previous support experience for Sales or Marketing leadership roles.
• Experience with ERP or quoting/order management tools.
• Organized & Detail-Oriented: Ensures accuracy across documents, data, and communication.
• CRM-Capable: Comfortable navigating systems, supporting users, and extracting basic insights.
• Proactive: Anticipates needs, identifies gaps, and takes initiative ahead of requests.
• Confidential & Professional: Supports executive-level operations with discretion.
• Collaborative: Works effectively across teams and functions.

Includes working primarily in an office setting, with occasional assignments outside the office. This position may require a flexible schedule if there are training events or customers in the building on an occasional basis. The role is a full-time onsite position.

Physical Requirements: Sitting, standing, walking, talking, hearing, seeing, bending, stooping, lifting & carrying. Ability to sit for extended periods of time working on a PC. Ability to reach frequently with both hands and arms and operate standard office equipment. Ability to lift boxes of moderate weight (+/- 20 to 25 pounds) and carry them short distances.

This role resides on-site in Centennial Colorado.

$24-$27/hr. This position is eligible to participate in the profit-sharing program and standard employee benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, 401K, and supplemental insurances.
