Job Summary

Supermicro Computer is looking for a Sales Account Representative who has experience with selling technical solutions and developing business. The ideal candidate must also have a proven track record in winning enterprise level relationships and consistently achieving and exceeding assigned sales quotas.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Responsible for sales account maintenance, providing technical and administrative product information, performing daily clerical and office maintenance tasks such as typing correspondence, coordinating, data entry, quotations and processing documents.
  • Monitor inventory, follow up ETA with purchasers and provide feedback to internal departments for discrepancies.
  • Act as liaison between sales, purchasing, production, procurement, and logistics departments.
  • Provide assistance for intra-company project coordination between sales and non-sales departments.
  • Enter, monitor, and communicate directly with clients regarding the status of their orders, facilitate credit issues, and negotiate returns.
  • Develop superior customer service relationships with prospects, compose reports and send to clients daily.
  • Provide backup support for the manager and team members.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications
  • Associate degree required; bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
  • 1+ years of customer service experience in tech industry desired.
  • Experience in data entry with strong attention to detail; familiar with scheduling production and tracking orders.
  • Strong communication skills, able to communicate effectively and professionally via phone, e‑mail, verbal and presentation.
  • Experience in customer service and dealing with clients directly, must have problem‑solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, consistent track record of meeting or exceeding assigned jobs.
  • Expert knowledge of Excel.
Salary Range

$70,500 - $80,000

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
