The Sales Account Manager will drive sales growth by meeting and exceeding sales goals and objectives. This position requires a thorough understanding of compounds and market conditions and the ability to communicate and collaborate across departments to ensure customer satisfaction effectively. In this role, the Account Manager will develop and maintain strong customer relationships, understand market trends and execute each sales process effectively. They will provide superior and efficient customer service and account management through daily management to strategic domestic accounts, and seeking solutions, both internally and externally, for process improvement, industry and logistical changes, and customers requests. The Account Manager must communicate clearly and concisely to team members and others within our organization along with customers and vendors and support product management with pricing and forecasting. Must live in the Southeast of the United States.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to touch, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Must be able to drive and travel by airplane. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, as normally based in an office. Some of the work may be required in the operating units which can require usage of required PPE including safety glasses, hearing protection, etc. May also result in exposure to outside elements and may require usage of stairs and elevators. Travel will be minimum of 50% including air travel and/or auto travel.
