If you are located in Virginia Beach/Tidewater, VA, you will have the flexibility to work remotely* while tackling meaningful challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Generate leads and enroll beneficiaries into the UnitedHealthcare Nursing Home plan using the national sales model.
  • Develop and implement account-specific strategies to educate and engage facility personnel, leading to interest from residents and/or their families.
  • Use traditional sales techniques to identify needs and highlight plan features and benefits.
  • Achieve enrollment targets within your territory.
  • Record all activity to ensure compliance with Medicare Marketing Guidelines.

Required Qualifications:

  • State health insurance licensure within 90 days of hire or ability to obtain it.
  • Ability to maintain licensure and certifications as required.
  • Proven success in meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Sales experience in B2C or B2B settings or experience in a skilled nursing facility.
  • Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation.
  • Strong account management skills, including planning, documentation, and measurement.
  • Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed.
  • Willingness to travel up to 90% within the local territory.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in B2B and B2C sales.
  • Technical skills including CRM usage.

The salary range for this role is $50,000 to $115,000 annually, depending on full-time employment, with potential bonuses based on sales performance. Compensation factors include location, education, experience, and certifications. UnitedHealth Group offers comprehensive benefits, incentive programs, stock purchase options, and 401k contributions. Benefits are subject to eligibility.
