Sales Account Manager – Protein - Remote
Division – ADM Nutrition

Position Summary:
The Sales Account Manager is responsible for developing and growing existing and new Plant-Based Protein customers in North America (US and Canada).

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement business plans and sales strategies to meet company sales goals and profitability targets.
  • Create action plans to identify and pursue sales leads and prospects.
  • Develop strategies to penetrate new markets in alignment with the company's strategic roadmap.
  • Assist in marketing and trade show planning specific to assigned market segments.
  • Provide timely and competitive pricing for prospects, aiming to maximize profit margins.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pricing, and contracts.
  • Collaborate with R&D/technical teams to sell value-added ingredients and solutions tailored to technical audiences.
  • Prepare and negotiate quotes to secure contracts.
  • Report sales activities and progress to the Vice-President of Sales using CRM tools.
  • Manage expenses within budget guidelines.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and ethics.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure high customer satisfaction.
