Job description

The Sales Account Manager - North America Aftermarket is responsible for achieving long-term sales growth and customer satisfaction, as well as managing the overall customer relationship with assigned accounts. This employee serves as the primary contact for accounts, including engineering, purchasing, quality, manufacturing, and other departments. They coordinate the involvement of team members as needed and are responsible for business development, sales growth, and meeting or exceeding sales and profit targets set by the Sales Manager, while maintaining high supplier ratings.

General Responsibilities
  1. Assist with the direct sales process and work towards achieving sales targets.
  2. Coordinate visits to current and potential clients.
  3. Perform routine account management activities.
  4. Develop short and long-term sales plans and strategies using available marketing programs to reach targets.
  5. Ensure clients receive high-quality customer service.
Experience / Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple tasks, and demonstrate teamwork.
  • Strong communication skills—oral, written, and presentation.
  • Excellent organization, planning, and time management skills.
  • High ethical standards and integrity.
  • Self-accountability in achieving goals.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Effective interpersonal and collaboration skills across all organizational levels, including with suppliers and external customers.

Approximately 50% US travel required.

Compensation

Base Salary Range: $61,100.00 - $83,930.00

Note: The salary range is a guideline; actual compensation depends on experience, qualifications, and other factors. Sensata offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance, education reimbursement, wellness programs, 401(k) with company match, paid time off, and incentive programs.
