Position Overview

We are seeking aSales & Account Manager – IT Serviceswith a proven track record in driving revenue growth through consultative selling of software solutions. This role is key to expanding our client base, managing long-term customer relationships, and delivering consistent business outcomes.

The ideal candidate is a confident closer who understands the nuances of selling ERP, AI, and custom development services. You’ll own the sales cycle end-to-end—from lead generation to contract negotiation—while also managing strategic accounts post-sale to encourage upsell opportunities and long-term retention.

This is anin-office role based in Charlotte, NC.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to meet and exceed quarterly sales targets.
  • Identify high-potential clients in sectors such as manufacturing, distribution, professional services, and government.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, discovery, proposal writing, and deal closure.
  • Proactively generate new business opportunities via outbound outreach, referrals, events, and partnerships.
  • Maintain an active sales pipeline and accurate forecasting in the CRM
  • Represent Confianz at industry events, trade shows, and virtual meetings.

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts post-sale.
  • Conduct regular account reviews and identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling.
  • Act as the liaison between clients and internal teams to ensure satisfaction and smooth delivery.

Proposal Development & Contracting

  • Lead proposal creation, solution presentations, and pricing discussions.
  • Navigate procurement processes and negotiate contracts confidently and ethically.
  • Tailor proposals to align with the business goals, budgets, and technical needs of clients.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in B2B software or IT services sales, ideally within ERP, AI, or custom application development.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed revenue targets with ownership.
  • Deep understanding of solution selling and long-cycle consultative sales processes.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with experience pitching to C-level executives.
  • Knowledge of Odoo, Acumatica, or similar ERP systems is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, IT, or a related field preferred.
  • Must be based in or able to commute to Charlotte, NC.
