We are seeking an experienced Sales Account Manager to strengthen our presence in the United States.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Opportunity Management
- Serve as the primary contact for inbound leads, referrals, and assigned opportunities.
- Conduct customer discovery to understand requirements, budgets, timelines, and decision-makers.
- Qualify opportunities using BANT or similar methodologies.
- Complete customer onboarding, due diligence, and KYC processes.
- Coordinate internal resources for technical, commercial, integration, or compliance support.
- Ensure opportunities are accurately categorized and managed through the sales process.
Quoting & Commercial Support
- Prepare and manage customer quotations, pricing requests, proposals, and sales documentation.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Leadership to validate requirements.
- Follow up on quotations and help drive opportunities toward closure.
- Identify risks, exceptions, or unclear requirements and elevate when necessary.
- Maintain accurate documentation of customer commitments and commercial terms.
Account Management & Growth
- Manage a portfolio of enterprise, government, OEM, partner, and commercial accounts.
- Build relationships across Procurement, Operations, Engineering, Program Management, and Executive teams.
- Identify opportunities for account expansion, repeat business, and long-term growth.
- Monitor customer satisfaction, account health, and potential risks.
- Support customer retention through proactive communication and problem-solving.
- Maintain accurate records of accounts, contacts, opportunities, quotations, and activities in CRM systems.
- Track opportunities from qualification through fulfillment and repeat business.
- Support forecasting, pipeline reviews, reporting, and account planning.
- Ensure strong follow-up discipline and data accuracy.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Sales Operations, Engineering, Integration, Production, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Finance teams.
- Support smooth handoffs across teams and alignment with customer expectations.
- Contribute to process improvements, sales playbooks, reporting standards, and best practices.
- Share customer feedback and market insights to support business growth.
- Participate in customer meetings, trade shows, conferences, and partner events.
- Coordinate product demonstrations, evaluations, and technical discussions.
- Represent the company professionally with commercial, government, and industry stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in account management, sales, business development, customer success, sales operations, or a similar customer-facing role.
- Experience supporting B2B, B2G, OEM, aerospace, defense, technology, public safety, or other complex customer environments.
- Proven ability to manage multiple accounts, opportunities, and priorities simultaneously.
- Experience with customer discovery, qualification, quoting, and sales processes.
- Familiarity with KYC, customer onboarding, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, Salesforce, or HubSpot.
- Strong communication, organization, and follow-through skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Willingness to travel up to 30%.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in UAS, autonomous systems, aerospace, defense, robotics, tactical communications, wireless technologies, or related industries.
- Experience supporting both commercial and U.S. Government customers.
- Familiarity with government procurement, defense acquisition, and regulated purchasing environments.
- Experience working with OEMs, channel partners, distributors, or systems integrators.
- Knowledge of RF systems, drone technologies, sensors, or integrated technology solutions.
- Experience with sales forecasting, account planning, customer retention, and process improvement initiatives.
