Job description

About Redpath Consulting Group

Redpath Consulting Group is a Salesforce consulting partner that helps organizations turn the Salesforceplatform into something their teams actually use — designing, implementing, and supporting solutions acrosssales, service, and operations. We work shoulder-to-shoulder with our clients rather than handing off a deliverable and disappearing, and our reputation comes from the outcomes we deliver, not the size of ourlogo.

We are growing, and we are investing in how we grow: new sales process, new tooling, and dedicated salesleadership. This is a seat with real ownership in a company small enough that your results are visible and yourideas shape the playbook.

The Opportunity

We are hiring a Sales Account Executive to own new-logo acquisition and account expansion for ourSalesforce consulting services. As a quote-carrying rep, you will build and manage your own pipeline, and runcomplex, consultative sales cycles with business and technical stakeholders — often up to the C-suite.

This is a consultative seat, not a volume one. You'll work a named higher education and/or non-profitterritory, partner closely with Salesforce, and bring institutional leaders a clear path from where their systemsare to where their growth plans need them to be. The wins here have the opportunity to be large, referenceable, and the kind you'll want to talk about.

If you are energized by having a hand in how the machine gets built, and you would rather create your ownpipeline than wait for leads to arrive, you will do well here.

What You Will Do
  • Own a quota. Carry and consistently deliver against a quota for new and expansion revenue.
  • Build your own pipeline. Self-source a meaningful share of opportunity through outbound prospecting, your network, referrals, and partner relationships — supplemented by, not dependent on, inbound leads.
  • Run consultative sales cycles. Discover business problems, scope solutions alongside our delivery andarchitecture leaders, build the business case, and negotiate to close.
  • Sell with the Salesforce ecosystem. Develop relationships with Salesforce account executives and partnercontacts to create co-sell and referral opportunities.
  • Grow existing accounts. Identify and pursue expansion within current clients, partnering with deliveryteams to surface where more value is available.
  • Forecast accurately. Keep the CRM current as a matter of habit and give sales leadership a forecast theycan rely on — no surprises at quarter end.
  • Improve the playbook. Bring field feedback back into our sales process and tooling as both continue tomature.
What Success Looks Like

In your first 90 days

  • You have built a personal pipeline of qualified opportunities.
  • You have fully adopted our CRM and sales process — your pipeline is current without anyone asking.
  • Your first deals are in late-stage negotiation.
  • Your weekly forecast matches reality.

In your first year

  • You have met or exceeded your quota in at least two of the trailing four quarters.
  • You generate pipeline quarter after quarter, not just when leads are assigned.
  • Expansion revenue is an actively tracked, contributing part of your number.
  • You are a visible contributor to how our sales process and tooling evolve.
What You Bring
Required
  • You understand the partner ecosystem game. You are familiar with Salesforce, how they are structured, and how to build trust so you become the go-to for new opportunities.
  • 3+ years of quota-carrying B2B sales experience in a complex, consultative, multi-stakeholder sale —professional services, technology consulting, SaaS, or systems integration.
  • A documented record of quota attainment. Be ready to talk specifics: quota carried, attainment by year, average deal size, and how you got there.
  • Demonstrated ability to self-generate pipeline. Prospecting, networking, and referral generation arehabits you already have, not skills you are hoping to develop here.
  • Experience selling to and influencing senior business and technical decision-makers, including at theexecutive level.
  • Disciplined CRM and forecasting habits — you keep your own pipeline honest and current.
  • High personal accountability, and a view of coaching as a normal part of getting better.
  • Comfort operating in a company that is actively building — you adopt new processes and tooling ratherthan working around it.
Preferred
  • Experience selling Salesforce services, or selling within the Salesforce or another major software partnerecosystem.
  • Experience selling project-based or managed services with delivery-team collaboration during the sale.
  • Familiarity with a named sales methodology (MEDDICC, Challenger, Sandler, or similar).
  • Established relationships in the [Upper Midwest] market.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Competitive base salary with uncapped commission, commensurate with experience and track record.
  • medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Paid time off
  • paidholidays
  • professional development and Salesforce certification support
