About the Role
Lamar Advertising’s Sales Team in Wolfforth, Texas is hiring a Sales Account Executive (salary + commission) to bring innovative outdoor advertising campaigns to local and regional brands. The role requires a passion for connecting marketing with sales and the drive to close deals of all sizes.
Responsibilities
- Meet and exceed sales targets while monitoring personal sales data and reports.
- Identify and visit businesses in the assigned territory and evaluate strategic potential.
- Assess local and national competition to identify new growth opportunities.
- Use Lamar’s computer tools to locate prospects, follow up on leads, and prepare proposals and presentations.
- Present and demonstrate product knowledge to clients regularly.
- Attend sales meetings, regional conferences, seminars, and trade shows.
- Perform administrative duties, including:
- Maintaining daily, weekly, and monthly sales plans a month in advance.
- Following up on client production orders and resolving issues.
- Keeping organized and up‑to‑date records of client and sales activity.
Essential Qualifications
- Comfort with cold calling, both by phone and in person.
- Strong oral presentation abilities and clear communication of policies and procedures.
- Self‑motivated to learn new technology and systems.
- Excellent time‑management, self‑organization, and ability to handle fluctuating workloads.
- Resilience and adaptability when faced with rejection.
- Ability to build connections, establish trust, and work collaboratively across diverse backgrounds.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; CRM experience preferred.
- Access to a valid driver’s license.
- College degree preferred; prior outdoor advertising sales experience preferred.

Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Combination of office and field work, including making sales calls and servicing accounts.
