Job Title:Sales – Specialty Solutions Manager

Overview:
Our client is seeking a Sales Manager to be located in eitherthe Eastern USA States or in Ohio(2 roles). We are looking for a true relationship-builder, someone who is committed to helping customers (rather than selling products to them).

What you will be doing:

  • You will be adept at developing strong relationships with existing customers and prospects.

  • This role will require you to utilize the technical expertise of the organization to find solutions.

  • You will be genuinely curious, and have the communication skills to ask multiple questions to get to the root cause of our clients problem.

  • You will then communicate to the customer a solution that meets their cost, performance, and environment/health and safety objectives.

  • This role will be WFH, however, it involvessignificant weekly travel in Ontario. You must have a valid driver’s license and be able to legally cross the Canada/USA border. All candidates must be legally able to work in the United States.

What you must have:

  • Experience – preference will be given to those individuals with 5+ years of experience in a sales environment, selling a complex product.

  • Experience managing a project or multi-part task in order to complete objectives and stay focused on getting to the desired end outcome.

  • Experience prioritizing/reprioritizing daily work in order to handle competing

  • demands.

  • Proficiency in the 4 main software programs in Microsoft Office

  • (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) to effectively communicate different

  • messages and perform basic analysis.

  • You will have highly developed communication skills to be able to adapt and effectively communicate with different types of communication styles.

  • Experience building exceptional customer relationships that are not based on ‘giving the customer what they want’, but rather gaining true insight into the actual needs

  • a customer and helping facilitate that understanding to all stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated experience showing your ability to relate and build open relationships with various people who have diverse styles and create trust and open communication with each of those different styles.

  • Demonstrated ability to learn a new topic quickly and then probe and ask questions that demonstrate true understanding of the material/topic.

  • Excellent time management skills.

  • Superior written and verbal communication skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to learn process steps and communicate those steps.

  • Excellent interviewing skills – to be able to uncover issues, truly get to the root/cause of a problem, and to share that knowledge with others.

  • Active listening skills to ensure that all parties are clear on specific information needed to solve problems.

  • Exceptional ability to follow up on tasks, keep stakeholders updated, set realistic expectations and to ensure that internal and external stakeholders are aware of timelines and deliverables.

  • Ability to deliver results to customers and internal stakeholders in a timely manner.

  • Able to determine multiple paths to solving a problem and explore possibility of following any of those paths to quietly and effectively achieve the objective.

  • Negotiating skills that show proficiency in tackling ‘tough’ issues by authentically showing how an issue might slow down or get in the way of achieving the mutually desired outcome.

  • Clear focus on determining the next steps to advance a project/solution and being self-driven to ensure that others stay focused on their piece of that solution and helping them to deliver on time for the whole project.

Salary/Rate Range:$90,000 – $100,000
