Harbor is hiring one of the first salespeople to build and scale our enterprise presence within banks, insurers, and regulated companies deploying AI agents. You will drive end-to-end deals from conversation to pilot to expansion, shaping Harbor's sales approach for years to come.
You will own a full-cycle process, engage CROs and CISOs, and work closely with founders to land and expand with customers who value risk, compliance, and security.
Harbor is insurance for the agentic economy. Banks, insurers, hospitals and law firms are handing real decisions to AI agents: approving loans, pricing policies, moving money, advising customers, thousands of times a day. When one gets it wrong, nobody knows who is liable, and insurers are excluding AI from existing policies because there is no claims history to price it.
We fix that. Our platform finds every agent a company runs, measures its operational, security and regulatory risk against a framework mapped to NIST AI RMF, SR 26-2 and the EU AI Act, and blocks the decisions that break the company's rules before they go through. Then we insure the risk that remains, with our own money behind the answer.
We emerged from stealth in October 2026 with $10M in seed funding from Base10 Partners, Abstract and 8VC. Our four co-founders met at Stanford, and the team includes former founders, IMO and IOI medalists, professional athletes and competitive programming champions. We are headquartered in San Francisco with a team across the United States and Europe.
What we share is a way of working. Everyone here thinks like a founder, owns outcomes rather than tasks, and moves fast because our customers cannot wait. And we are good people to each other. We would rather pass on a brilliant hire than lose that.
You will be one of the first salespeople at Harbor, selling a new kind of product to the most careful buyers in the world: banks, insurers and other regulated companies that want to deploy AI agents and cannot afford to be the next headline. You will carry deals from first conversation to signed pilot to expansion, alongside the founders, and you will shape how Harbor sells for the years after you.
Own a pipeline of enterprise accounts in financial services and insurance, across the United States, Europe and Latin America.
Run the full cycle: prospecting, discovery, pilots, security and procurement, contract, expansion.
Sell to Chief Risk Officers, CISOs, heads of AI and innovation, and the underwriting and compliance teams around them.
Work pilots with Engineering and Underwriting so the customer sees value in weeks, not quarters.
Build the playbook: the questions that qualify, the objections that recur, the proof that closes, and the process that lets the next hire ramp fast.
Several years closing complex B2B deals with multiple stakeholders and long cycles, ideally in financial services, insurance, security or AI.
A record of selling something new, where you had to create the budget rather than find it.
You are technical enough to demo the product yourself and to understand a customer's agent architecture when their engineers describe it.
Rigorous on process and pipeline, honest about forecasts, allergic to surprises.
You like the early days: no territory, no playbook, no marketing engine yet.
Relationships in banking, insurance or reinsurance.
Experience selling risk, compliance or security products.
Spanish or another European language.
Founder mentality. Everyone owns a piece of the company, not a job description. If something is broken and nobody owns it, you own it.
Ownership over outcomes. You decide, you ship, you answer for the result. There are no layers between you and the people whose agents we insure.
High pace. We are growing fast and we like it that way. We make decisions in days, ship in weeks, and fix what we got wrong just as quickly.
Good hearts. We are direct and demanding, and we are kind. We help each other win and we tell each other the truth.
We write things down. Decisions, post-mortems and specs live in documents, not in meetings.
We hold ourselves to the standard we sell. Our own agents run on Harbor.
In person in San Francisco. We think the first years of a company are built in the same room.
Competitive salary and meaningful early-stage equity.
Medical, dental and vision for you and your dependents.
Flexible paid time off, with a real expectation that you take it.
Hardware of your choice and a budget for anything that makes you faster.
Relocation support to San Francisco.
Four steps, two weeks. An intro call with a founder, a working session on a real problem from our roadmap, conversations with the team, and references. We make decisions quickly and tell you where you stand at every step.
Harbor is an equal opportunity employer. We hire on the basis of what you can do, and we welcome applicants of every background, nationality and path into the industry. If you need an accommodation during the process, tell us and we will arrange it.
