TNT Crane & Rigging is seeking a Sales Representative to maintain current customer accounts and develop new ones. The candidate will work in Chattanooga / Ringgold, GA, and is expected to manage a $2+ million sales territory with responsibilities including sales solicitation and preparing quotes.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, with 3–7 years of experience in commercial construction sales and crane operations preferred. Strong communication skills and the ability to travel are essential.

Job Summary

Sales Representative will be assigned to a specific sales territory, maintain current customer accounts, and develop new accounts. The role involves representing SWY Crane & Rigging and its family of companies to secure orders for commercial construction crane and rigging services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college or technical degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 3–7 years of commercial construction sales experience preferred.
• 3–7 years of crane operations experience and proper rigging techniques preferred.
• Ability to determine appropriate crane for a task, prepare quotes, and coordinate with the dispatch office.
• Experience in marketing strategies and trend analysis preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in the operations of the crane industry.
• Track record of sales performance.
• Overnight travel required.

Responsibilities

• Attain assigned territory sales objectives through management, planning, and development.
• Establish a client base to support a $2+ million per year revenue stream.
• Execute personal and telephone sales solicitation in assigned territory.
• Prepare quotes and coordinate with dispatch office.
• Read, interpret, and utilize manufacturer load charts to assess lift capability.
• Communicate safety issues verbally to customers and internal workers.
• Perform administrative reporting and comply with safety and environmental policies.
• Prepare and present quotes and close sales.
• Prioritize workload, meet deadlines, and work independently.
• Manage rejections professionally.
• Maintain exclusive account management and establish account strategies.
• Other responsibilities as required.

Working Conditions

• Possible irregular working hours and standby hours.
• Exposure to mechanical, electrical, explosive hazards, fumes, dust, chemicals, or toxic waste.
