The Staff Development Coordinator coordinates, develops, and conducts training programs for Salemtowne associates to encourage and ensure more effective residents care while meeting state and federal requirements. Serves as Salemtowne’s Infection Preventionist.

Requirements for a Staff Development Coordinator with Salemtowne:

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing/adult education.
  • Three (3) to five (5) years in adult education.
  • Active RN license for state of NC or one that is permissible due to reciprocity from the incoming state where the team member resides.
  • SPICE Infection Perfectionist Certification or obtains within 1 year of hire.
  • MatrixCare experience preferred.
  • Experience in developing and facilitating nursing/healthcare education programs.
  • Prior experience in leveraging learning management systems preferred.
