Job summary

The Exercise Coach is seeking a full-time Head Coach for our Shadyside location. Previous fitness and membership sales experience, plus leadership experience, are required.

Our Training is provided and compensation is salaried, not commission-based, ensuring you are paid for your time whether or not you train clients. You will deliver instruction, handle client accounts and retention, support client acquisition, maintain studio standards, and contribute to a positive, professional team culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Certification from The Exercise Coach required.
• CPR/AED certification required.
• Must be eligible to work in USA.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exercise instruction within brand standards and per the directives of your Studio Manager.
• Administration of client accounts, including forms, charges, data entry, and clerical duties as directed by Studio Manager.
• Perform and log all tasks to execute client acquisition strategy; conduct initial consultations and promotional sessions.
• Promptly contact clients behind in attendance and log activities; reacquire former clients.
• Maintain a clean, well-organized studio and notify the Studio Manager of repairs.
• Demonstrate professionalism and team mentality; actively participate in the brand’s fitness program.
• Act as a brand ambassador and maintain fitness knowledge; model professionalism and integrity.
• Follow schedule directives from the Studio Manager and adhere to company policies.
