ARC Hotel Washington DC, Series by Marriott is seeking a Housekeeping Maid to clean and service rooms to brand standards, restock linens and amenities, and maintain a high level of guest satisfaction. The role requires standing for long periods, attention to detail, and strong teamwork in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Full-time position with competitive benefits. Training on safety and chemical handling is provided, with opportunities for career growth within Marriott properties.

Qualificações

• At least one year prior hotel housekeeping experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Clean and service assigned guest rooms and bathrooms in accordance with hotel brand standards.
• Change bed linens, make beds, and replenish towels and guest amenities.
• Dust, vacuum, mop, and sanitize all surfaces to maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
• Restock housekeeping carts and maintain an organized supply of linens and cleaning products.
• Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, or damaged items in guest rooms and public areas promptly.
• Ensure all rooms are cleaned and ready for guest arrivals within established timeframes.
• Respond to guest requests promptly and courteously, providing exceptional guest service.
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and chemical handling procedures.
• Maintain the confidentiality and security of guest rooms and belongings.
• Assist with additional housekeeping tasks such as hallways, service areas, or special cleaning projects as assigned.
• Work collaboratively with team members and communicate effectively with supervisors regarding room status.

Salary Range: $23.07 To $32.95 Hourly

Job Description

Skills & Abilities

• Bend and reach to dust, clean and make beds
• Stand and walk for varying lengths of time, often long periods.
• Talk to many different kinds of people to give information, answer questions and provide required services.
• Visually inspect rooms for cleanliness and guest belongings that have been left behind.
• Use written communication skills to mark completed rooms on daily paperwork.
• Move fingers, arms and hands quickly and easily to perform cleaning duties.
• Lift all equipment and supplies on and off cart.

Prior Experience
