ARC Hotel Washington DC, Series by Marriott is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to clean and service guest rooms, restock supplies, and maintain high cleanliness standards. You will report issues, ensure timely readiness for guests, and support various housekeeping tasks as needed.

The role emphasizes guest service, teamwork, and attention to detail in a busy hotel environment. Full-time, hourly positions with benefits are available.

Full time Hourly Arc the Hotel DC, Washington, DC, US

Job Description

• Clean and service assigned guest rooms and bathrooms in accordance with hotel brand standards.
• Change bed linens, make beds, and replenish towels and guest amenities.
• Dust, vacuum, mop, and sanitize all surfaces to maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
• Restock housekeeping carts and maintain an organized supply of linens and cleaning products.
• Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, or damaged items in guest rooms and public areas promptly.
• Ensure all rooms are cleaned and ready for guest arrivals within established timeframes.
• Respond to guest requests promptly and courteously, providing exceptional guest service.
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and chemical handling procedures.
• Maintain the confidentiality and security of guest rooms and belongings.
• Assist with additional housekeeping tasks such as hallways, service areas, or special cleaning projects as assigned.
• Work collaboratively with team members and communicate effectively with supervisors regarding room status.

Skills & Abilities

• Bend and reach to dust, clean and make beds
• Stand and walk for varying lengths of time, often long periods.
• Talk to many different kinds of people to give information, answer questions and provide required services.
• Visually inspect rooms for cleanliness and guest belongings that have been left behind.
• Use written communication skills to mark completed rooms on daily paperwork.
• Move fingers, arms and hands quickly and easily to perform cleaning duties.
• Lift all equipment and supplies on and off cart.

Prior Experience

• At least one year prior hotel housekeeping experience preferred
