Position Summary

The Busser is responsible for providing a clean and pleasant dining experience by clearing, sanitizing, and resetting tables, and ensuring the dining room is well-stocked and tidy. Candidates should be organized, able to think and act quickly and effectively while retaining self-composure.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist food servers by removing used or unnecessary items from guests' tables; bussing tables and resetting for new guests
  • Observe tables and keep track of clean, dirty, and occupied tables
  • Clean, sanitize, and reset tables after each guest
  • Maintain appropriate stock levels of glassware, silverware, and dishware
  • Refill condiment stock and condiments on tables
  • Work in a team environment and be an effective team player
  • Provide guests with hospitality that meets or exceeds Company standards
  • Clean, organize, and stock menus at the front desk
  • Interact positively with guests entering and departing
  • Keep designated service stations clean, stocked, and organized
  • Maintain restrooms throughout the shift
  • Support food servers and kitchen staff as needed
  • Maintain personal appearance and hygiene according to company policy
  • Display integrity and honesty in all work aspects
  • Perform other duties as directed

Minimum Qualifications
  • Willing to work evenings and weekends
  • Adhere to workplace safety procedures
Preferred Qualifications
  • One or more years of full-service restaurant experience
Physical Demands and Work Environment

While performing duties, team members stand for the entire shift, frequently reaching, bending, lifting, and carrying trays up to 50 pounds, and occasionally up to 75 pounds. Must communicate with guests and coworkers regularly. Exposure to hazards such as cuts, slips, burns, and temperature extremes is possible. Accommodations may be provided for disabilities.
