Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) Engineer / Technical Lead to support and enhance a large enterprise Identity and Access Management (IAM) environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands‑on experience with on‑premises SailPoint IIQ, application onboarding, connector development, provisioning, workflows, customizations, and identity governance.

This is a hands‑on engineering position focused on maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving an existing SailPoint IIQ platform. Strong on‑premises IIQ experience is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

• Engineer, configure, administer, and troubleshoot an existing on‑premises SailPoint IdentityIQ environment.
• Develop and maintain SailPoint IIQ workflows, rules, lifecycle events, policies, certifications, roles, and provisioning processes.
• Lead application onboarding, connector configuration, and integrations with enterprise applications.
• Develop SailPoint customizations using Java, BeanShell, APIs, and IIQ rules.
• Troubleshoot provisioning failures, identity aggregation, workflows, connectors, and identity‑data issues.
• Integrate SailPoint IIQ with Active Directory, LDAP, databases, and other enterprise systems.
• Improve platform performance, reliability, security, and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with IAM, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and application teams.
• Provide technical leadership, resolve complex production issues, and guide other engineers.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands‑on SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) experience.
• Strong experience with on‑premises SailPoint IIQ implementations and production support (mandatory).
• Proven experience with application onboarding, connector development, and enterprise integrations.
• Hands‑on experience with Java, BeanShell, SailPoint rules, workflows, and APIs.
• Strong understanding of Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), identity lifecycle management, access certifications, roles, policies, and provisioning.
• Experience integrating SailPoint with Active Directory, LDAP, databases, and enterprise applications.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in complex enterprise IAM environments.
• Experience working independently and providing technical guidance to engineering teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• SailPoint certifications.
• Experience with SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC) / IdentityNow.
• Experience modernizing existing IIQ environments or planning cloud migrations.
• Experience with CyberArk, SSO, MFA, and API‑driven integrations.
• Background in utilities, financial services, critical infrastructure, or other regulated industries.
• Previous experience as a Senior Engineer or Technical Lead.
