Job summary

Capital One seeks a SailPoint Engineer to support Identity Access Management, focusing on automation, onboarding new applications, and secure coding practices. The candidate will work in a full-stack team delivering business applications while collaborating with tech leads to ensure end-to-end design and delivery.

Minimum qualifications include 1.5+ years in Java or Python, SailPoint IdentityIQ experience, and strong SQL skills.

Qualifications

• 1.5+ years of Hands-On experience in Java or Python.
• 1.5+ years with SailPoint IdentityIQ.
• 1.5+ years SQL and data extraction.
• 1.5+ years troubleshooting end-user issues.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities for automation, evaluate new tools, and drive implementation of technology that creates value for the organization.
• Build strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, and team members
• Provide regular updates to the management team on project progress
• Support the rollout and onboarding of new applications
• Responsible for overall delivery of software components which meet functional specifications & product requirements
• Automate component & integration tests
• Collaborating with tech leads to ensure integrated end-to-end design and delivery
• Good knowledge of secure coding practices
• Be fearless and try out new open source technologies/frameworks to solve business problems
• Be fungible in a full stack team and own all aspects of delivering business applications
• Assist in monitoring, troubleshooting, and providing problem resolutions to related incidents
• Operational support with change and incident management processes
