Job summary

Camp Laurel South is seeking an enthusiastic Sailing Counselor to join our waterfront team for a summer of safe, fun sailing instruction. You will lead daily sessions for campers of all levels, teach core skills, promote water safety, and care for equipment while building relationships and contributing to the camp’s energy and spirit.

The ideal candidate is knowledgeable, energetic, and passionate about working with kids, with strong communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Prior sailing experience required (instructing experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of sailing fundamentals and water safety.
• Ability to teach and engage campers of varying ages and skill levels.
• Confident leading groups on the water with a safe, fun environment.
• Excellent communication, leadership and teamwork skills.
