Job description

Summary:

Administers physical agents utilized in the short and long term rehabilitation of inpatients and outpatients (orthopedic, neurological, pulmonary, cardiac, medical, and surgical) under the supervision of a PT within the guidelines set forth in a physician's order.

Responsibilities:
  1. Assist in implementing treatment plans as directed by the supervising PT.
  2. Monitor patient responses to treatments and report any concerns.
  3. Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress.
  4. Ensure all equipment and treatment areas are prepared and maintained according to safety standards.

Required Qualifications:
  • 0-3 years of previous experience in a similar role.
Education:
  • Associates degree in a related field.
  • Current MA license or eligibility and CPR certification preferred.
