Scion Technology has been engaged to conduct an immediate search for an experienced Enterprise Applications Project Manager for our client, a wonderful B2B manufacturing organization in City of Industry, CA! In this role, you’ll use your ERP expertise with Sage X3 to ensure that it and the systems integrated with it are meeting all the needs of the business; and managing the projects of any enhancements or upgrades! This is a full time, direct hire, onsite role!

• Compensation range is $80-100k, depending on experience

What you will be doing:

• Leads and actively participates in the design and execution of project plans for new IT initiatives and enhancements to the existing Sage X3 ERP system, a mature installation supporting approximately 300 employees.
• Collaborates with cross-functional internal teams and third-party vendors to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across Sage X3 and its integrated applications.
• Provides technical and leadership oversight as needed, mentoring team members and ensuring alignment with best practices and project goals.
• Manages full project lifecycles and daily operations, maintaining compliance with timelines and budgetary requirements.
• Champions system stability, data integrity, and security across all Sage X3 environments and connected platforms.
• Proactively identifies and implements system improvements using performance analytics, business needs, and user feedback.
• Creates and maintains detailed documentation, including project requirements, QA test plans, user guides, and knowledge base content, to ensure clarity, consistency, and accuracy for technical and non-technical audiences.

What you will need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Administration, or related field
• 3–5 years of experience in Sage X3
• Proven experience leading full life cycle projects from requirements through implementation
• Demonstrated ability to work with stakeholders to gather needs and translate them into effective solutions
• Familiarity with eCommerce platforms such as Magento or Shopify (required)
• Proficient in SQL and data analysis tools
• Skilled in documenting business requirements and technical specifications
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication across all levels of the organization
