Job summary

CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA) is seeking a Business Software Director – Sage Intacct to lead the CLA Digital Team and drive the strategy, staff development, and budgets for the business software consulting practice. The role requires overseeing multiple projects, supervising staff, and delivering client-focused software solutions across the region.

The candidate will guide implementation projects, build client relationships, and align initiatives with firm strategies.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience developing and implementing business software technology solutions is required; 8+ years preferred.
• Supervisory or project management experience is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is required (degree equivalency considered).
• Must have construction experience.
• Must have Sage Intacct implementation experience.

Responsibilities

• Business Software Services: acts as a strategic thinker and problem solver for the business software team, coordinating and resolving problems with clients or serving as an expert resource for the team.
• Managing Engagements: monitors action plans for multiple projects, delegates tasks, and builds client relationships to promote new services.
• Managing Operations: works with local offices to ensure alignment with delivery capabilities and develops improvement programs for the consulting practice.

CLA is currently seeking a Business Software Director – Sage Intacct to join our growing CLA Digital Team. This role is a leader in developing and managing staff, business plans, and fiscal budgets. They are responsible for developing and administering the business software consulting practice within the region and developing and updating strategies and guidelines for the delivery of business software solutions to firm clients.

About the role

• Business Software Services: Acts as a strategic thinker and problem solver for the business software team, clearly articulating complex topics. Coordinates and/or resolves business software problems directly with clients or serves as an expert resource for the team. Oversees technical aspects of development and implementation of business software solutions for clients.
• Managing Engagements: Monitors action plans for multiple projects and delegates assignments based on individual team member strengths and passions. Works with the Business Software Services Manager to review, correct course, and provide quality assurance for projects. Proactively seeks opportunities to build relationships through marketing or other networking efforts, leveraging existing relationships to promote new services to current clients, generate client referrals, and build new relationships.
• Managing Operations: Works with local offices to ensure understanding of new initiatives, consistency, and compatibility with business software solutions delivery capabilities. Develops improvement programs to enhance business software consulting capabilities and grow existing services.

Key Qualifications

• 6 years of experience developing and implementing business software technology solutions is required – 8 years preferred.
• Prefer overall experience including 3 years of supervisory or project management experience.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field required (combination of education, experience, and training may be considered a degree equivalent).
• Must have construction experience.
• Must have Sage Intacct implementation experience.
