Job summary

UPS is seeking a seasonal supervisor to lead and develop workgroups focused on safety, production, and attendance. You will set high standards for productivity, accuracy, customer service, organization, communication, cooperation, and safety across the department.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment, and the ability to lift 70 lbs. A Bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) and prior management experience are

Qualifications

• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to lift 70 lbs./32 kgs.
• Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week.
• Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent - Preferred.
• Management experience - Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains good working relationships with employees, management, and customers.
• Facilitates training with new and current employees.
• Ensures employees adhere to safety policies and procedures at all times.
• Manages department resources to maximize output, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Promotes a positive, team-oriented work environment with proactive communication.
• Implements employee development plans for continued growth.
• Ensures training, materials, and information are provided with regular evaluations and coaching.
• Ensures safety policies are followed at all times.
