Job summary

Summit School Services LLC seeks an organized customer service specialist to process field trip and charter orders, provide pricing information, and manage trip data.

Responsibilities include route planning, driver coordination, and maintaining records while ensuring compliance with company policies. A high school diploma is required with 3–5 years in customer service; CDL potential is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience in a customer service environment is required.
• Proficient use of computers; MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Ability to acquire CDL and act as cover driver if needed.

Our 250+ local customer service centers (CSCs) are supported by regional operations teams located throughout North America.

Responsibilities

• Take field trip or Charter business orders through the electronic mail system or over the phone
• Provide accurate pricing information to customers
• Enter and record trips into company’s proprietary data base system
• Determine map routes, assign driver coverage and provide trip details to Drivers and Dispatchers
• Generate trip reports as needed for CSC management or others
• Communicate with customers, invoice trips and track payments
• Complete Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Payroll tasks related to Charter and field trips
• Perform general office duties including writing letters, generating reports, drafting pay-memos, copying, filing, faxing, etc.
• Encourage compliance with company policies and procedures
• Perform various administrative tasks
• Exhibits the highest ethical best practices and personal integrity; Shares concerns about suspicious or inappropriate behavior with their supervisor or manager
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or equivalent required; completion of college level courses preferred
• 3-5 years’ experience in customer service environment required
• Proficient use of computers required; Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc
• One or more years of driving experience on field trips preferred
• Ability to acquire CDL and perform as a cover driver
• Strong verbal communication skills and telephone etiquette skills; ability to respond and present professionally to callers and customers.
• Highly organized and able to work with minimal supervision
