Lennox International is seeking a Safety Coordinator to ensure compliance with safety policies on-site. This role involves inspecting work areas, documenting safety inspections, and training others in safety protocols.
Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma and at least 2 years of related experience. Competitive hourly pay ranges from $29.83 to $38.60, plus benefits including medical insurance and paid time off.
Under general supervision, inspects work areas and equipment to ensure compliance with company, state, and federal safety policies and regulations.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A two year degree or equivalent is preferred. Requires at least 2 years related experience. Requires developing understanding and ability to train others in company, state and federal safety policies and regulations. Able to train others in correct use of safety equipment. Must have practical knowledge of biology, environmental science, chemistry, or a closely related field. Must have developing skills in the operation of a variety of lab equipment, generators, pumps, gauges, and other common tools. Must have the ability to perform control calculations. Must be able to produce quality, accurate work. Must be able to detect and correct errors. Requires effective written and verbal communication.
Compensation: This is an hourly non-exempt role. The starting pay range for this role and market is between $29.83 – $38.60/hour. Factors that may affect starting pay include geography/market, and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible to earn overtime when they work more than 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law).
