Responsibilities

• Perform inspections of clinical and non-clinical worksites, buildings, plants, and grounds to identify hazards and assess potential harm to employees and environment.
• Conduct workplace inspections and assess compliance with laws/regulations; assist higher-graded staff with inspections and assignments.
• Respond to reports of unsafe conditions and work practices; report findings to service chief and Occupational Health Hygienist; identify violations and recommend corrective actions.
• Observe safety practices and monitor safety checklists; train leaders and employees on general safety and occupational health including mishap prevention.
