Job summary

U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking an Electronics Technician to manage electronic systems across the facility and satellite clinics. You will perform design, installation, maintenance, and administrative duties to support patient care and ancillary services.

Qualifications

• Specialized Experience: one year at GS-10 level in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electronic systems.
• Experience with CCTV, fire alarms, access control, and other security systems is required.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and install/maintain digital and analog electronics.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance to ensure systems operate properly and safely.
• Diagnose, analyze, isolate, and correct issues to reduce failures and improve reliability.
• Manage center-wide projects, oversee contractors, and advise leadership on system purchases.
