Duties
- You will report directly to the Occupational Safety and Health Supervisor while performing a variety of support tasks designed to facilitate the identification, prevention.
- You will assist higher graded specialists in the performance of mishap investigations involving injury to personnel and damage to government property and the preparation of formal reports.
- You will participate with management in preparing detailed plans, budgets, and /or schedules for Department Training Program.
- You will forecast funding needed to support objectives of training annual work plan, through extrapolation of current and historical data.
- You will analyze requests for funds ensuring training projects are effectively planned and are within overall training program cost coordinate review and preparation of actual and projected FY training financial estimates.
- You will at the direction of the Department/Division Head, independently accomplishes special inspections of facilities and equipment and observes work evolutions for the purpose of gathering information.
- You will be assigned to assist the Environmental Specialist with analyzing chemical product information and safety data sheets in order to recommend substitutions or reductions in consumption of hazardous material.
- You will evaluate, advise on, implement, optimize, and standardize department office work methods and procedures, distribution of work assignments, and documentation systems.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
