Job summary

Panelmatic is seeking a Health, Safety, and Environment Technician to join our team. This role ensures compliance with safety regulations, promotes a culture of health and safety, and supports 5S within the organization.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in environmental health and safety practices within manufacturing and will help the HSE manager implement safety programs, train staff, and maintain OSHA, EPA, and 5S compliance.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and EPA regulations.
• Experience in developing and delivering safety training.
• Experience investigating incidents and accidents to determine root causes.
• Familiarity with 5S principles and workplace organization.
• Ability to produce clear, concise safety reports and documentation.
• Excellent communication skills across all levels of the organization.
• Background in environmental health and safety practices within manufacturing.

Responsibilities

Job Summary:

Panelmatic is seeking a Health, Safety, and Environment Technician to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring compliance with safety regulations, promoting a culture of health and safety and 5S within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental health and safety practices, particularly within the manufacturing sector, and will be responsible for helping the HSE manager to implement safety programs, conducting training, and maintaining compliance with OSHA, EPA, and 5S program with HSE responsible help.

Job Duties:

• Conduct regular safety inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure adherence to safety standards side with the HSE representative.

• Provide training and development programs for employees on topics such as first aid, CPR, OSHA regulations, and occupational health practices.

• Help the HSE manager to Investigate incidents and accidents to determine root causes; prepare detailed reports outlining findings and recommendations for improvement.

• Collaborate with management to promote a proactive approach to workplace safety; facilitate communication regarding safety concerns.

• Proven experience in an EHS role within the manufacturing industry is preferred.

• Strong knowledge of OSHA standards, EPA regulations, and occupational health practices.

• Experience in training & development related to EHS topics.

• Proficiency in report writing with the ability to communicate complex information clearly.

• Certification in First Aid and CPR.

• Familiarity with root cause analysis techniques and 5S is advantageous.
