Harder Mechanical is hiring an entry-level Safety Tech for a Boise, Idaho project. You will receive training and mentorship while supporting construction safety standards and site requirements.

This field-based role works with the safety team, project team, and field supervision to ensure work is planned and performed safely in a fast-paced environment. duties include field observations, job walks, and collaboration with crews to reinforce safety expectations.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of safety experience or construction related experience.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• OSHA 10 certification required.

Responsibilities

• Support incident prevention through field observations and coaching.
• Conduct job walks to identify hazards and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with superintendents and crews to support safe work planning.
• Assist with inspections of job site areas, tools, equipment, and work practices.
• Support PPE assessments and ensure proper PPE use in the field.
• Assist with safety orientations, toolbox talks, and site-specific training.
• Track safety documentation, inspections, training records, and corrective actions.
