Job summary

Kia Georgia, Inc. in West Point, GA, seeks a Safety Operations professional to assist the Assistant Manager with implementing safety and incident prevention measures to comply with corporate, local, state, and federal regulations.

You will support contractor safety management, perform risk assessments, lead SIFs activities, and help develop safety training and audits using ISNetworld, Sphera, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related field with 4–6 years of progressive safety experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with Contractor Safety Management, incident investigation, risk analysis, and ANSI standards.
• Proficiency with OSHA regulations and corporate safety directives.

Responsibilities

• Support Assistant Manager in Contractor Safety Management and administration activities using ISNetworld.
• Conduct risk assessments of production jobs and daily safety observations.
• Develop, deliver, and facilitate safety orientations for contractors, suppliers, and vendors.
• Analyze SIFs data, support reporting, corrective actions, and ensure implementation of countermeasures.
